I dislike how small it is but it does hold the valve core. Please ensure your phone number and email address are up to date and correct in your profile settings. A big fuckin hammer and their valve core tool. Perfect size for me for getting into the tighter areas (I know they have a super small 3/8 ratchet but I personally won’t get one since at that length it’s just for already loose bolts) I’d also recommend getting their t72 ratchet and putting the 3/8 kit into it. I have their longest ratchet in each drive size with a couple other sizes for variety. I feel that the ct761 was more sensitive. Only thing I can say that I don’t like is that I don’t have as much trigger control in my opinion. I just got my pre order ct861 today and I’ve used it already. I will say that snap on’s 14.4 line up is good. Their electric tools are starting to improve but the price is too high, I’d get Milwaukee or dewalt or whatever else that’s still good. I’d say snap on makes the best hand tools (sockets / ratchets / wrenches / pliers). Instead, I got a little smart, realized the brand of the tool doesn’t have any effect on the hours I turn (in most cases) and doesn’t make me any more money per flat rate hour. If I had my box full of tool truck brand, it would be pushing well over 100k. I have no tool truck debt, get to spend my money on shit for me instead of work. Remember this, the tools are only as good as the monkey using them. As far as my personal tool collection, over half of my box (84” Cornwell Platinum with side locker and hutch that is full to the brim) came from Amazon, I see no need to spend tool truck money on rebranded Lisle or OTC or whatever other company actually manufactures the product (with the exception of the ADV sockets). I like my RBRT stuff from MAC, otherwise I like their picks.

For wrenches I love the MAC precision torques. For sockets, I use Matco ADV almost exclusively, made by sunex, but have tool truck service. My favorite ratchet is an Icon 1/4” flex head and that’s above my 7 other truck brand ratchets (including snap on) in 1/4” drive. Otherwise, I don’t find anything from snap-on leagues above anything else. I’ve got them all except for the 3/4”, but I do a lot of internal engine repair. Other Snap On must haves for me are their electronic torque wrenches. PWZ pliers are a must have for me from snap on. The steel is a bit softer than Snap-On so will tend to flex more at the extreme end of the torque curve, and may not handle as much abuse, but I'd say they're better than any hardware store band (Husky, Craftsman, Kobalt). If you're trying to save some money on tools you will use less often Icon from Harbor Freight is pretty decent. TC used to be the supplier for Snap-On, and still supplies many other "premium" tool brands. Pliers I'd recommend Knipex, except for locking pliers where I'd strongly recommend Malco (Snap-On sells those pliers rebranded with their logo).

Snap-On screwdrivers are also excellent, but if you have a handle style you prefer you're not going to go wrong elsewhere.

Once you get out of the realm of those three categories I'd say the Snap-On advantage really fades, especially when you consider the price premium. That holds up in the multitude of tool test videos on Youtube. I'm sure I'm biased because it's what's primarily in my box, but Snap-On makes the best ratchets, sockets, and wrenches.
